The BIGGEST WESTERNS EVER will be held in Nanaimo, BC from October 2nd-5th, 2025.

Over 450 athletes from 7 Provinces and Territories will be making their way to the east coast of Vancouver Island to hit PRs, hang our with friends, and take the step towards competing at CanPL Nationals 2026 or 2027.

If you are want to watch:

Yes - spectators will be allowed! Cash or card on the door, with discount for multi-day passes available!

If you want to volunteer:

We will need as much help as possible for this weekend! The volunteer signup is here. Encourage your friends and training partners to sign up and help out!

    Competition experience is a priority - from making sure volunteer food is tasty to matching the playlists to the lifters.

    Experienced running multiple local competitions and assistant with volunteer recruitment and coordination for several large-scale events.
    Competition experience is important, from personalized gifts and trinkets to bringing in BBQ catering for athletes.
